I love the game, I play it a lot. I find it a logical evolution of games I have enjoyed in the past like Warcraft III or Age of Empires – but with a feeling of permanent upgrading, which is really fun. But I don’t recommend playing the game. Crazy right? The game offers a great fighting experience, but you have to commit time to it. If you try to play casually, you will get wrecked. And if you don’t play every day, you will get continually wrecked and always arrive back in exile, attacked, lost resources, and having a bad time.
As an example, my grandson and I have tried playing this game many times. But we only play casually and once in a while. Every time we go to play, we are ported away from each other, no longer in an alliance together, and spend ALL of our gametime just trying to get next to each other. In the meantime, we are continually attacked by other players and can’t gain resources. It’s ridiculous. I don’t understand why there is not a Player vs Environment (PvE) version of the game for casual players.
If you take my advice, then you have no need to read more of my posts on this game that I love and discourage people from playing … haha. If you do, you can work for months and months and then have the sort of fun you see below. This is hundreds of players facing off in a pass war that lasted for days with no respite. Awesome!
