Hello! My name is Andrew Fixi and I created FixiGames to blog about fun stuff about video games I like or just general game theory. In 2026, a concentrated effort to create Boneeaters is underway. But first, some brief history:

Years ago I created a website called MrFixitOnline.com that ran a bunch of online tournaments for real-time strategy games like Age of Empires and Empire Earth. I got published in a AoE strategy guide (they got my name wrong, but they got my website right!) We got really popular back then with about 3 million visitors a month, got flown around the world to teach gaming companies and high-power players about gaming, and just had soooo much fun!
I build an online tournament system which worked smashingly well. The site was also built on it’s own fan-editable content engine (which was a great idea that others have done so much better now). And, at that time, “fan sites” were not valued or supported and our site, although large, did run it’s course. It’s really nice to see the concepts of what I worked on then be so successful in later times.
Comics with Voice and Music
I then worked on an amazing project to create online comics with voice and music. Working with 100s of artists, I learned a ton and had a blast. It lasted several years and left a big impression on me.
Video Game Hobby
Over the years I have played a large set of video games. In one (World of Warcraft) my old handle of “MrFixit” got morphed into “Fixi” and that stuck. For influences, my favorite games of all time are Mass Effect (one of the best sci-fi stories of all time, and yes, I liked Andromeda too), Jade Empire, Eternal the card game, World of Warcraft, and Fallout 3.

Now is the time to focus on my new project: Boneeaters. This is an online adventure game focused on leadership. As the director of your own story, you will choose the protagonist, make choices and decisions, and build your adventure. With many different endings, the question is: what kind of leader will you be?
